This is my mihi to our ancestors.

I wanted to acknowledge more than a 1000 years of voyaging  across Te Moana nui a Kiwa and how the great navigators have steered by the paths of the stars and the sun, interpreting ocean swells, wave and cloud patterns to find their way.
